What this TikTok downloader does
To download a TikTok video without the watermark, copy its link in TikTok (Share, then Copy link), paste it into TapDownload and tap Download. You get an MP4 with sound: TikTok's own playback file, which has no moving TikTok logo or @username. Photo posts save as pictures.

Download a TikTok video in three steps

TikTok download without the watermark
The "watermark" is the TikTok logo and the creator's @username that jump around the picture. TikTok adds it to the file its own Save video button gives you. The copy TikTok plays on its website is a different file, and it has no watermark. TapDownload saves that copy, so a TikTok download without the watermark is simply TikTok's own clean file, not an edited one.
Text that the creator put on the video, like a caption sticker or a credit, is part of the video itself, so it stays. If you repost a TikTok, credit the creator and ask them first.

Not every video has every version: TikTok decides which copies to keep. TapDownload never upscales, so there is no fake HD.

When a TikTok won't save
- The account is private, or the video is set to friends only. TapDownload only opens what TikTok shows to someone who isn't logged in.
- The video was deleted, or the link has a typo. TapDownload says so.
- It's a LIVE. Lives stream inside the app and have no file to save.
- TikTok limits it on the web, often by age. Those videos aren't shown to logged-out visitors.

How do I download a TikTok without the watermark?

Can I download TikTok videos in HD?
When TikTok keeps an HD copy, yes: open the save options and pick the Sharper (HEVC) version, up to 1080 x 1920. The default is 576 x 1024 in H.264 because it plays on every device.
Can I save a TikTok as MP3?
TapDownload saves the sound as an .aac file, copied straight from the video so no quality is lost. AAC plays everywhere MP3 does. If you need an .mp3 file exactly, any free converter can change it.
Does the creator know I downloaded their TikTok?
TapDownload opens the public page without a TikTok account, so no username of yours is involved. We can't see what TikTok records on its side. If you plan to share the video, ask the creator first.
